Observations from Observatory from “Maths et etoiles” summer school:
“Recently I participated in the Summer school about mathematics and astronomy. There classes were held in the Observatory, in the real Observatory, where you could not just watch something, which is already known, like Mars, Saturn with its satellites, but to learn, how to search for something, which is not yet known. This is something, which is making all the students to be excited “Open problems!” Just imagine, that just observable universe is estimated to contain 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies, but how many there are in the unobservable part?” – interview from one of SciEd participants.
Look at Stellarium software to make visualisations and astronomic demonstrations.
