Last week Daniele Marinazzo, researcher from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the Ghent University and Pr.fro. Belgium and several other universities gave a special lecture for the students in Nepal while travelling to the region to attend a science conference. 

The lecture was organized with support of the “Lecturer without borders” project for the students of the Nepalese College of Information Technology. The public talk given by Dr. Marinazzo was titled “Information theory and prediction in multivariate datasets” and was targeting Master and graduate students of the College.

In his lecture Dr. Marinazzo talked about a general framework that can be applied to several fields, from neuroscience, to climate, to econometrics, social sciences.
